Bags is a professional teacher and performer from the UK who has been formally trained at Circomedia – Europe’s leading centre for contemporary circus and physical theatre. He has taught hooping at prominent events all over the UK, Europe and the US as well as being a teacher on Hoop City and Hooping University. He founded the Bristol Hoop Massive and the UK hoop website the Hoop Hub and has won or been nominated for multiple Hoopies and Revolvies (this year he jointly won the Male Hooper of the Year Hoopie!) He is an innovative and multi-disciplined performer who has a strong passion for circus in all it’s forms – but just at the moment you’re unlikely to find him anywhere other than inside a hoop!

Valentina

This versatile, vivacious, vaudevillian vixen, Valentina dazzles audiences around the world with her unique vision of circus dance fusion. Sharing her magic in both performance and workshops is her passion and drive. Valentina is a second generation belly dancer who was raised in the Los Angeles underground art scene by her mother, Leela, a successful theatrical belly dance icon. Valentina now blends belly dance with hooping, fire, burlesque, snake charming and aerial Lyra. Her ability to seamlessly combine these dance forms gives her a provocative style unlike any other. She is the leader of The Hoop Unit, a hoop fabricator and an event producer.

Bex
Bex Burton, aka THE BEX, is a certified Pilates instructor, Thai Bodyworker, contemporary HoopDancer and certified teacher, costumer and fire performer. With over 25 years of movement training, performance and study, Bex owns and facilitates Sense of Motion Therapies, a multi-service, holistic company offering Joyful Movement preventative wellness in New York, NY.
Utilizing the Pilates Method and Thai Bodywork, Bex specializes in relieving low-level chronic pain from muscular imbalances caused by heredity, poor habits, injury and illness. Through HoopDance, she arouses the Divine, Exquisite, and Extraordinary in students. She holds a faculty position teaching Pilates at NYC’s acclaimed downtown dance mecca Dance New Amsterdam, and trains private clients on all Pilates equipment out of her home studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and in Lower Manhattan.
Her HoopDance has been featured in the New York Times, WG News, Shape.com, and numerous blogs including Hooping.org and HooplaHa.com. She has taught at Hoop Retreats across the country, including Hoop Convergence and Return to Roots, and was nominated for two 2013 Hoopie Awards for for choreographing and producing HELLO!100: a spectacle performing event with 100 hoop dancers in June 2012.
Through movement, Bex strives to raise body awareness, teach positive movement patterns, and create beautiful shapes in space. When she is not in motion, THE BEX is at rest.

Lolli Hoops
Lolli Hoops has been on the forefront of the hooping scene in Boston since 2003! As a founding member of the Boston Hoop Troop, she has helped build a community that embraces hoop dance. With fun, dynamic, and flirty performances, Lolli Hoops has become a mainstay in the Boston vaudeville and cabaret scene. Lolli has taught hoop dance to hundreds of kids and adults throughout New England and beyond.
Beyond teaching multiple Boston based classes weekly, Lolli has taught at regional festivals including: Hoop Convergence (NC) Hoop Fest NE (ME), Wildfire (CT), and Pittsfield City Hoopla (MA). Teacher, Performer, Movement Artist, Clothing Designer, Lolli Hoops has something in her bag of tricks that you want to experience!
