Jose J Punx
Jose began hooping in the summer of 2002 after meeting Groovehoops at the Berkfest Music Festival. A lifelong dancer and proponent of rock climbing as vertcal gymnastic dance, the marriage of dance and hooping came naturally for Jose. A founding member of the Boston Hoop Troop, Jose moved to Boston in 2005 and has been a hoop teacher and performer ever since.
Exuding masculinity and grace Jose has performed throughout the area, hooping in the Slutcracker, HONK Parade, Fluff Festival, Machine Nightclub and parks and streets of Boston. He has also delighted party-goers at Burning Man, the Boston, New York and Philadelphia Decompressions, Mighty in San Francisco and Re-Bar in Seattle. Bring him to your party!
